Restore Your Whole Smile
When patients have lost teeth and they have dentures, the All-on-4 implants, or All-on-5 or 6; depending upon how many we select for the patient, is an opportunity for them to restore the quality of life that they used to have. Obviously, dentures are adequate to give a smile, to allow people to talk and to eat, but when people have upper and lower dentures, their eating ability is limited to only 20% of what they had when they had teeth. By restoring the mouth to the section or to the function that they had when they were younger, they can eat and chew and smile and do the things that they used to without having to have the dental adhesives. People spend over $11 million a year on dental adhesives, and none of them taste good at all. I don’t think I’ve ever had a patient that says, I want to have dental adhesive because it supplants the lunch or dinner that I’ve had. So as a result, dental implants and All-on-4 allow people to retain and to regain the positions that they had when they were young. It gives them the quality of life that they miss.
